At Little Pines Speech, we deliver therapy in the environments where children feel most comfortable — from living rooms to playgrounds. We don’t push one-size-fits-all goals. Instead, we follow each child’s lead, honoring their interests, autonomy, and sensory needs. Welcome! I’m Megan.
Owner & licensed Speech Language Pathologist at Little Pines Speech Therapy. I’m a therapist who believes that learning should be fun, engaging, and deeply connected to real life. I love seeing children thrive through meaningful interactions—and supporting families along the way! I started my private practice to provide accessible, family-focused, and play-based care to the greater Portland community.
Our Services
Early Intervention
Supporting the foundations of communication—including first words, social interaction, and early play skills.
Speech Therapy
Helps kids learn to pronounce words so people can understand them more easily.
Language Therapy
Targets a child's ability to understand (receptive) and use (expressive) spoken or written language.
Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
Empowers children to find their voice using tools beyond spoken words. Whether it’s a communication device, picture system, or gestures, we match the right AAC support to each child’s unique needs.
Fluency & Stuttering
Supports kids to learn ways to speak more smoothly and confidently so they can say what they want to say, whenever they want to say it.
How it All Works

Have questions about your child’s communication? We will listen to your concerns, share about our services, and schedule your child's first session.

If needed, participate in a speech & language evaluation to better understand your child's strengths, interests, and communication needs.

Attend weekly speech therapy sessions to meet your goals! We are currently offering in-home sessions and teletherapy.

Watch your child grow in communication and confidence!
Insurance & Billing
Currently, we accept Oregon Health Plan - Open Card or Fee for Service (FFS) and out-of-pocket payment. We are in the process of getting in network with more insurance companies.
For other insurance plans, we provide a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
